Guided Meditation for Finding Peace with Discomfort
In this meditation we explore what lies underneath challenging experiences and uncomfortable emotions. To create and hold space for what is here and allow for the energies to have the space to be integrated. Many times the intense discomfort that is associated with uncomfortable emotions or physical discomfort is from our resistance to it’s presence. This can be noticed when you have a light headache that feels quite irritating but when you get distracted with other things you don’t notice the pain as much. It’s our focus on the discomfort and our desire for it to leave that increases the intensity of it’s presence. In allowing the discomfort to be as it is we open to our experience and the layers that exist underneath to see that by simply opening to what we are experiencing that it can allow for the system to relax and for us to find a deeper wisdom that lies beneath.
